| Dr. Ir. Suhirman | Aphyllophorales (Polyporaceae) | Taxonomy |
Microflora are known to be very useful for food and medicine. They can also be beneficial for increasing plant growth, although some are parasitic to plants and animals. They also have important roles as biodegradation agents in forest ecosystems and wood construction.
Within five years the inventory and study will be concentrated on macrofungi, especially the order Aphyllophorales with special reference to Polyporaceae.
