An
introduction to the way of life of the local people living within the
north of Gunung Halimun National Park and the Tropical Rain Forest.
Attention will focus on the various crafts and farming methods of the
local people and the endangered and endemic wildlife that still exists
in relative safelty within the National Park. Such species include the
Critically Endangered Javan Gibbon (Hylobates moloch), Endangered Javan
Hawk Eagle (Spizaetus
bartelsi) and numerous
species of birds, of which over 200 have been recorded.
